Our story
When COVID-19 first hit Australia in May 2020 the Denmark community rallied to support those experiencing hardship.
It was acknowledged that there was no adequate structure with which to manage initiatives like this, so Denmark Futures registered as a charity in August 2021 to help develop projects that benefit the broader community.
Our purpose
Our purpose is to support a thriving Denmark community by empowering the community to participate directly in the design and implementation of solutions to critical social and built infrastructure gaps.

In practical terms, this means
-
Supporting existing NFPs at a strategic level
-
Responding to requests for help from community groups
-
Enabling and facilitating people & resources
Would you like to be involved?
As a locally-run Registered Charity Denmark Futures relies on members to help tackle community issues in Denmark.
Our members donate their time and expertise to solve problems that other groups—because of funding restrictions and other constraints—need help with.
Denmark Futures focuses on social issues and built infrastructure gaps. We use our skills, services, funds and networks to help the Denmark community thrive.
